Since 1997 the SISKA is involving in the development of karst knowledge in Switzerland by publishing scientific papers and working on applied method of karst characterization in the frame of water supply, management, natural hazards, heritage…

In constant collaboration with institutional, private and/or academic partners and spelunkers, the SISKA is positioned today as referent for capitalizing and promoting Swiss karst knowledge and apply engineering.

The Swisskarst project was launched in 2009.

The workgroup includes:

  • 1 ph D student (100 %)
  • 1 Post-doc (10 %)
  • 1 research assistant (50 %)
